QUICKENING BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

QUICKENING BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Zachariah 4:6   Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

It says, not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit.

Nothing happens in heaven and or in the earth that the Holy Spirit is not involved in.

He is the spirit of God; he is the one that makes things work in your life.

the Holy Spirit is the one that gives you wisdom, so you can use knowledge in the correct way for your life.

He is the comforter that Jesus sent, when he left and went back to heaven.

He is the light to your pathway and guide for your life.

He is the one that directs you in the purpose that God has planned for your life.

John 3:5-6   Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Because that which is still in the flesh operates in a fleshly manner.

John 4: 23-24   23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

God is seeking people that will worship Him and seek his righteousness.

God is a spirit, when we worship him, we must worship Him spirit and in truth.

To be able to worship God in the spirit you must be quickened by the Holy Spirit. When you are saved and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior the Holy Spirit enters in you. That is how the Holy Spirit is able to instruct us and gives us wisdom on how to pray to our spiritual father. To have a deeper relationship with God you must be born of water and of the spirit.

The Holy Spirit gives more life to our mortal bodies, so Jesus can be manifested in your mortal flesh.

Romans 8:1   There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The power of the life-giving spirit who is the Holy Spirit of God has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death (hell) thru Jesus, free from all condemnation.

He has freed us from the power of sin that leads to death.

The law of Moses could not save us, its sacrifices only covered over our sins.

God had a different plan, a plan to save us. He sent his only begotten son, Jesus.

Because God was willing to give the ultimate sacrifice, his son Jesus it destroyed sins control over us.

We are no longer to follow our sin nature, instead we are to follow the spirit.

The ones who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Father and the Holy Spirit.

The sinful nature is always hostile to God. the sinful nature never obeyed Gods laws and never will.

That is why people that are not lead by the Spirit will not be able to please God.

Romans 8:16   The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts and reminds us that we are Gods children.

Being Gods children means that we will share his treasures, being joint heirs with Christ Jesus gives us all that Heaven has to offer.

1 Corinthians 2:9   But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

God reveals these things to us by his Spirit. It is all about the leading of the Holy Spirit. You must be filled with the spirit, be led by the Spirit, and walk in the Holy Spirit.

FOUNDATION PRINCIPALS FOR OUR DAILY LIVES

FOUNDATION PRINCIPALS FOR OUR DAILY LIVES

Psalms 11: 1-3   In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

For some reason David was forced to flee for safety several times.

Being Gods anointed King did not make him immune to injustice and hatred from others.

Even with all of this happening David always knew that God was always in control.

Like David, faith in God keeps us from loosing hope, and helps us to resist fear.

Hope is and always will be the foundation for faith. In knowing Gods word, we build on this foundation.

David was comforted because he knew God was greater than anything his enemies could bring against him.

Even though David found himself in trouble, this is a twofold metaphor. Israel will have to face the same circumstance.

Zachariah 14:5   And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

This will be right at the time of the second coming of Jesus, when he will come back with the saints. The people of Israel will flee to the mountains because the antichrists army are chasing them to kill them.

When your foundation is shaken and you feel like hiding, remember that God is still in control.

God’s power is not diminished by the turn of today’s events.

Nothing happens without his knowledge and permission

God has had a plan since the beginning of time and no leader, no president, no man or event can change Gods plan.

It is going to be as He planed, and just as it was planned

God had a plan before day one. It was designed with every human in mind, each person created; God designed him or her with a purpose, in his great purpose for the fulfillment of Gods love through his people.

He gave us his son to die on the cross to save us. He gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us with wisdom and understanding. God gave us His word as a way to live unto His righteousness. All the promises in his word bless us, and show us his unconditional love.

This is our supernatural predestinated foundation that never fails because it is built on our hope in God.

So, if you watch fox news and sometimes feel like running away, run to God.

He is the one with the plan.

God will restore justice and goodness on the earth in His own good time

Something you should know. God does not preserve the believers from difficult circumstances.

But he tests both the righteous and the wicked.

For some, Gods tests become a refining fire, while for others they become an incinerator for destruction.

Don’t ignore Gods tests and challenges; use them as opportunities for growth.

Sometimes for Christians in these days, living for God in a deceitful world can be full of difficulty and lonely.

At one time the great prophet Elijah felt so lonely he wanted to die.

We are never alone in our battle against evil, so when you feel alone, seek out other believers for strength and support.

God cares for the weak and the needy. He promises His protection. His promises and provision are mightier than any problem.

We have one hope, the word of God. God’s words are as flawless as refined silver, so listen carefully when He speaks.

Sometimes all we need to do is talk over a problem with a friend

A believing friend can help you put things in a different perspective.

There are times we think that God is slow to act on our behalf.

Like most humans we want it, and we want it now.

When you feel impatient, remember David’s steadfast faith in God’s unfailing love.

God not only expects us to obey his guidelines but he wants us to love Him with all our heart.

No one except Jesus Christ has done that perfectly, sometime we humans fall short.

Today we live among evil people whose standards and morals are eroding.

Our standard of living this life, as believers, should not come from our evil society, but from Gods word.

The time we now live in has changed from the old way of life. We are expected to live a life that is politically correct. We are living in a chaotic evil demonic mess. There is no way out of this mess except to live a righteous life before God. Lean on God and stay in his word. It feels like we are on a runaway train that is about to crash. Our best hope is in the blessed hope, Jesus Christ.

Words are powerful and how you use them reflects on your relationship with God.

It is human nature to make our own plans and then ask God to bless them.

Instead, we should seek Gods will first.

We can do this by constantly thinking about the Lord and His way of living.

2 Corinthians 12:9   And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Believers and unbelievers alike experience pain and trouble as well as failure at times.

Being a believer, Christian, doesn’t mean we won’t have pain and troubles, even fail at time. We still have Gods grace and mercy on our side.

Those who seek God can move ahead, confident in knowing what is right in Gods eyes.

Those who know God know that God will help keep them from straying off His chosen path.

DOCTRINES OF DEVILS AND FALSE TEACHERS

DOCTRINES OF DEVILS AND FALSE TEACHERS

The King James Bible speaks of the devil sixty-two times, devils fifty-four time and Satan fifty-two times

1 Timothy 4:1   Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, (in direct terms) that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines (or teachings) of devils;

Paul is saying here the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last days some will turn away from what we believe.

They will follow lying spirits and teachings that came from the doctrines of devils. False teachers were and are still a threat to the church.

Jeremiah 23:31-32   31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord.

Even today it is not enough that a teacher, minister or evangelist appears to know what they are talking about or says she or he is speaking for God.

If their words contradict what the bible says they are teaching false. These hypocrites, false teachers are lying spirits that are teaching what come from demons.

We are guided by Demonic spirits, or we are guided by the Holy Spirit.

The devil deceives people by offering a clever imitation of the real things of God. Don’t be impressed with a teacher’s style or credentials, his teaching must line up with the word of God.

Colossians 3:16-17   16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Let the truth of Gods word dwell in you richly in all wisdom and understanding, always what so ever you do, do it in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to God and the father through him.

Because we still live in the flesh, we sometimes get weak in our thinking and that is very fertile ground. It leaves room for the devil to work on our minds.

Eph 4:23-27   23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.

Your mind is what you think with,

Your will is what you want,

Your emotions are what you act on.

We need to be careful about what we think, what we want, and what we act on.

Our old way of life before we got saved should be completely in the past. We must put on the new nature, go in a new direction and have a new way of thinking that the Holy Spirit gives us.

Don’t give place to the devil. Why, because it is his goal to deceive you. It is so important to avoid the worthless deeds of evil and darkness and stay away from evil influences.

Matthew 5:14-16   14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

We are the only spiritual light on the planet. God needs us to shine for him. Don’t hide the light that God has made available for you through his son Christ Jesus, let it shine in you so people will have hope.

Let it shine before men so that they may see your good works and glorify your heavenly Father.

When things don’t work out the way we think they should or the way we want them to, that is when wrong thoughts start coming into our minds. That is when we start thinking of things. Satan fights with lies and sometimes his lies sound like truth.

John 8:42-43   42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

I know you are Abrahams seed. I speak that which I have seen with my father, and you do that which you have seen with your father. You would love me if God were your Father. I did not come of myself, but he sent me. Why do you not understand my speech, because you cannot hear my word.

Satan often attacks our heart, the very center of our emotions… self worth… and trust. He wants us to think the good news of the gospel is worthless and hopeless.

Satan wants to make us doubt God. Never doubt in the enduring power of the heavenly realm.

John 8:44-47   44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Jesus is saying because you cannot hear his word you are of your father the devil, and the lust of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and he lives not in the truth, because the truth was not in him, for he is a liar and the father of it.

And now I try to tell you the truth and you believe me not. Even if I say the truth; why don’t you believe me? If you could only hear Gods word but you hear them not because you are not of God.

Did you ever have a bad habit that you actually hated, and know in your heart that it is wrong? Sinfully wrong. In your heart you would say, I am never going to do that again.

But as sure as we declare it, this nagging thought would drive you crazy, and without thinking you would do it again. The temptation was so strong that you could not stop yourself.

You are not alone, that probably describes a lot of the population. Bad thoughts lustful thoughts and thoughts of wrong desires only come from one source, the flesh way of thinking.

We all have areas where temptation is strong and habits are hard to conquer. These weaknesses give the devil a foothold. We must deal with our areas of vulnerability.

We still live in the flesh; most people struggle with a particular sin. The sin is bad enough but the big problem is when we try to justify it.

1 Peter 5:8    Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Your adversary, the devil, is always on the prowl, seeking someone to devour. Just like a real lion who seeks out the young and feeble (the young of spirit and the weak of spirit) to attack.

John 10:10   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Who is the thief? The one who comes to kill, steal and destroy. How does he kill steal and destroy? He does it by deception, getting you to doubt yourself and God. He may not physically kill your body, but he does want to kill your spirit, your connection with God.

This deception does have a good ending, Jesus says I am come that you might have life and that they might have life more abundantly.

Yes, you will be tempted, Jesus was tempted, yes there will be thoughts that come to your mind, some not so good, some worse.

You need to consider the source; you know these thoughts are not of God so they must be from the adversary the devil. Or wrong thinking on your part.

James 4:7   Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Resist the devil and he will run from you. Tell him as Jesus did to get behind you.

KNOWING THE GOD WHO CREATED YOU

KNOWING THE GOD WHO CREATED YOU

Philippians 1:6   Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Your faith becomes effective, after, you acknowledge every good thing which is in you, by and in Christ Jesus. We as believers must be confident in God’s living word; being fully assured and certain that when we speak the word it will accomplish what we say and not entertain any suspicions or doubts.

Why is it that we believe when we say the sinners prayer that we are saved by grace and if we die or when the rapture comes we will go to heaven, but when any circumstance comes up in our lives we say oh God what am I going to do? What will happen to me?

There are too many I’s in the equation. It has never been about what we think, it is about what Gods word says. Gods word is an assurance of the mind or a firm belief in the reality of the truth, followed by confidence in the mercy and grace of God.

It is all about trusting God and having confidence in His promises.

2 Corinthians 1:20-22   20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

This means all of the promises of God is in and through Christ Jesus. They are made possible in our life meant for our abundant benefit. Jesus came that we may have life and life more abundantly. Yes, and amen means these promises will never change.

Psalms 36:7   How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

God being who he is and in his loving kindness has prepared everything we need that we might trust him. He will cover you under the shadow of his wings, he will keep a hedge around you and give his angels charge over you.

Psalms 91:4   He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Verses 10-11   10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Gods promises are our armor of protection

1 Timothy 4:9-11   This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
11 These things command and teach.

The key decision in life is to determine in who or in what to place one’s trust. Trusting God requires dying to self and sometimes suffering reproach, which means we as teachers’, preachers and soul winners will be blamed for things. As Paul was. We are to teach and command these things.

John 16:13   13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

You can’t be thinking, what can I do, and be led by the Holy Spirit at the same time. You are being pulled two different ways and that won’t work. That will cause confusion. It is up to us to decide if we want to be led by self or by the Holy Spirit.

Today we are standing on a cross road and our time is running out. We need to decide what route we going to run on. Self or the leading of the Holy Spirit.

No one can make this choice for you, nor can your pastor, or even God because we have a free God given will. It is up to each of us alone to choose who or what we will follow. Gods way or the way of the world. Your going to spend eternity somewhere. The only way to spend it in heaven is to Choose God and his way, which leads us by the Holy Spirit.

Jeremiah 10:23   23 O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Man is a spiritual being; we are tied to our creator who is God. Without the direction of the Holy Spirit, God our creator we will wander helplessly in the way of the world.

This is why I’m teaching on this topic. Some choices we make could cost us a very high price. Satan would just love to deceive us into believing our way of thinking in the flesh is greater than that of the one who created us. Even greater than the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 6:14   Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Most people don’t understand that what is written in the bible was not written for unbelievers. There are only two fellowships in the world, and only two. All people belong either to one or the other. No one can belong to both and claim to be a Christian. Your choice is with the world or with the word.

Matthew 7:21-23   21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Here the word is talking about the ones that tried to live by both ways. Because of the choices they made they will pay a very high price.

The ones who have eyes and don’t see and ears and refuse to hear, and a mind that doesn’t understand are unlearned and will be rejected at the white throne judgment where they read out of the book of life.

They could not understand the word because it is a spiritual book, to read and understand the word of God you must have the wisdom of discernment of the Holy Spirit. To receive this wisdom and discernment you must first accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and make him the Lord of your life.

John 3:16-18   16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

God gave his son up to the cross out of the God kind of love. That is what it took to redeem humanity. The object of Christ’s mission was to save. Rejection of him can only lead to condemnation.

Jesus is the only salvation for the world. There is no other salvation. Salvation is never by works, but rather by grace through faith in Christ Jesus.

A VAPOR OF TIME

A VAPOR OF TIME

James 4:13 and 14   13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

The reason we can’t depend on tomorrow is you might not have tomorrow. In the natural earthly life today is all we have. It is all about today, fulfilling the purpose in which we were created for.

We are reminded that we cannot predict or control our future. We must always consider this in our plans. A Christian who excludes God from their plans are acting on their own and not with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

When James asks “what is your life” he is not questioning the origin or essence of life, but the time between birth and death. The bible uses many metaphors to express the brevity and uncertainty of the life of the believer.

Proverbs 27:1   27 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

This verse is saying, don’t be speaking about what you are going to be doing tomorrow: tomorrow may not be given to you. since only God knows what a day might bring, it would be foolish to go around boasting about what you are going to do.

God just might have other plans for you if you do make it until tomorrow. Actually, tomorrow doesn’t come. It is always today. We never know when our purpose is finished on planet earth. It is not proper for Christians to boast, period. Because nothing belongs to the human race, it is only on loan until you die.

Luke 12:16-21   16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Verse 16- Riches if rightly acquired should be thought of as blessings from God and treated accordingly, since it all belongs to him anyway.

Revelation 21:1   21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

All that we have will pass away. We really can’t hold on to anything.

v. 17 Everything has been given to us by God, we run around heaping up stuff for tomorrow, not realizing if we have or have not tomorrow. It is a certainty in life and death and inevitably each of us will face it.

v. 18-19 This is providing for the flesh which is only a vapor of time.

Matthew 6:19-21   19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

This man provided for the flesh but not for the soul.

v. 20-21   But God said to him, what is God saying to you and me? The same to all who follow the train of covetousness. Sooner or later this night will come if riches come, they can either be used for self or for God. this is a hard choice to make if you live by the five senses.

It is not a matter of being rich or poor. It is a matter of what is in your heart. God does not have a problem with a believer having money. He does have a problem with it being an idol and becoming your God or putting you in a position of thinking now that I am rich, I don’t need God.

You can believe god will handle this matter in a way that won’t be pleasing to you. However, Jesus did say that he came that we might have life and have life more abundantly. God never intended for his children to live in poverty.

Don’t let the lies of Satan get into your thinking. Get in line with the word of God and trust the one who created you. Poverty is absolutely and always will be from adamic curse that is not for the believer.

There are those who claim God doesn’t promise us new Testament believers’ physical prosperity, just spiritual. The truth is you can’t separate the two. God is a spirit and he created the material world. Since the moment he spoke it into existence, that material world has been governed by spiritual forces.

That is why the devil corrupted it spiritually: Physical corruption broke out as well.

The whole plan of God from the beginning to today is that he wanted a family to worship Him and fulfill the purpose we were created for. He wanted us to have a meaningful relationship with him.

Since we are only here for a short vapor of time, in comparison with eternity, don’t you think we owe it to the all-knowing god whose mind is higher than ours, whose grace is beyond our imagination, to fulfill our purpose.

Our time is so short until it is time to start building toward this, start believing that God is, and His word is the inspired word and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him with all their heart.

To do this you must make the decision you will believe his word above anything else. It is God actually speaking to you. God breathed; God inspired. You must accept the word for what it actually says, and not for what you think it says.

Immerse yourself in the word until it becomes a part of your very existence.

You can tell the word is a real part of you when the word becomes the first thing that comes to your mind and the first thing you consider in every situation or circumstance that you face.

Proverbs 4:20-22   20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

This tells us how to develop this kind of stability in Gods word. Keep his word in the midst of our hearts. Do not let His words depart from your eyes. Many people fail because they allow the word of God to depart from their eyes. They see but don’t understand.

They have ears but they don’t hear. They follow religious teachings and man-made traditions instead of having a relationship with Christ Jesus.

If you don’t make Jesus the Lord of your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit who is the only one that gives you wisdom, discernment and understanding of the word, you will have eyes but not see and ears that don’t hear.

Matthew 13:13-17   13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Saying in order to separate those who don’t see and hear, neither do they understand because they do not wish to hear, see or understand and loose this triple moral ability of the world.

Don’t let riches or the desire for riches and things make your decisions in this short vapor of time we might have left.
