PAID IN FULL

When Jesus died on the cross, he shed his blood for our redemption, (redemption means to pay for something)

If you go to the store for a gallon of milk and you pay for the milk with your dollars. You have redeemed that milk with your money and it now belongs to you.

If someone in the parking lot tried to take your milk you would do everything in your power to hang onto it.

Jesus shed his blood at Calvary to redeem us, or pay the price for us. Then we could be saved, healed, victorious, and prosper in all his blessings… hang on to it.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to experience the joy of the Lord through accepting Jesus, maybe I can guide you as to why Jesus had to die on the cross to pay this awful price.

When Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden. They disobeyed God.

In the beginning God gave Adam total dominion over the earth and everything in it. Adams act of eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil cause treason. Everything that God had given Adam now belonged to satin, the devil.

God couldn’t start over with another handful of dirt and make another man, because the dirt didn’t belong to Him, Adam gave it to the devil when he ate the fruit.

Lets go to Mathew 4: 8-9 for our explanation. It says… the devil took Jesus up the mountain and showed Him (Jesus) all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them.

He said to Jesus, all these things will I give you if you will fall down and worship me. This shows that satin indeed owned the earth.

But God had a plan. Since we all belonged to satin, Jesus had to pay the price to reunite us back with God.

He shed his blood for a new covenant, and when we accept what Jesus did at Calvary, we are saved. Through that salvation we can now be with Him and the heavenly Father eternally. When we accept Jesus as our savior we are no longer separated from God by sin. Read Romans 8: 9-10

Jesus did more… taking stripes with the whip for our healing, being bruised for our transgressions.

As time goes on I will be on lots of topics. If you happen to have a topic that you want me to explain, contact me through my web site.

I would love to hear from you and help you to understand more about the Bible.

God bless

DON’T GIVE UP SO EASY

Read Jeremiah 17: 7 blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

Sometimes I see people in dire circumstances and that can create a certain degree of fear.

Like the phone call in the middle of the night and that voice on the other end saying your child was in an accident.

Or you received a message that this is the last check, we are closing our business.

If we are not rooted in the word, and have no concept of how to trust the Lord, you will go into panic mode. You can’t afford to do that. That can put you over into the area of depression.

When you get depressed you start to loose hope, and if not dealt with shortly it will go into hopelessness. Being depressed will cause stress. Lots of people today are living under so much stress until they can’t think straight.

They are focused on their circumstances. When you loose hope, faith doesn’t have anything to work on, hope is faiths foundation. When you get depressed and loose hope, you try to do things in your own strength.

Read Prov 3: 5 “trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.” For some reason, if things don’t go our way, we get the mentality that God can’t, God won’t or God never will…We have applied that mindset to healing, prosperity and authority.

We must have spiritual faith to do what God has called us to do. If God says He can, He can. If His word says He will, He will.

You need to be rooted in Gods word to overcome circumstances in your life. Phil 4: 19 says… but my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Put your hope in Jesus, righteousness will never fail.

Mat 11:30 says… My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

Stop doing everything in your own strength, you will eventually fail. Stop saying what you are going to do. Turn to God and see what He will do.

There is a promise and provision for every problem you might have, or will ever have. God loves you.

God bless
