REST IN GODS SUPPLY
Hebrews 4:9-11   ⁹ There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

¹⁰ For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

¹¹ Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

When God created the heavens and the earth, he rested on the seventh day, not because he was tired, spirit doesn’t get tired…

According to Gen 2:2-3  ² And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

³ And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

God ended his work and blessed and sanctified it. He rested on this day, because everything was finished.

Everything that he wanted and designed for mankind in this world, and even the next world was finished. God wants us to enter His rest, for Christians it is peace with God now, and eternal life on a new earth later. We do not need to wait for the next life to enjoy Gods rest and peace. We can have it daily now.

Our daily rest in the Lord will not end with death, but will become an eternal rest in the place that Christ is preparing for us. Rest in Jesus, believe in what he has already done, when he said it is finished… it was finished

I believe healing is a finished work of the cross

I believe prosperity is a finished work of the cross.

I believe victory is a finished work of the cross

I believe salvation is a finished work of the cross

God has supplied everything we will ever need.

Supply will always follow belief, you don’t have to labor with your own efforts just believe it is already been done.

Start thinking about what you’re thinking about. It is just a matter of believing and trusting what has already been done.

Religion wants to keep you in a pursuit of getting God to do something… constantly trying to earn His love. Faith is a positive response to what has already been done.

Faith is not trying to get God to do something… faith is believing God has already done it. Faith is the response to what Jesus made available at the cross to supply your needs

Unbelief will short circuit the transfer of that supply into your life. The supply of the spirit of Jesus will always follow belief.

I am not talking about belief just because you’re thinking it or just because you say it, it is because you believe it, and rest in it. Faith is corresponding with what has already been done, even though it hasn’t manifested, or materialized yet.

Mark 5:1-6   5 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

² And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

³ Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:

⁴ Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

⁵ And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

⁶ But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

Faith without works is dead; faith without corresponding action will not work. Faith speaks, what you say is faith speaking. Speak to God about the mountain, and then speak to the mountain.

Keep believing the things you say will come to pass. I confess with my mouth, and I have what I say.

That is how we receive our salvation. The highest form of faith is faith in God’s word. The head reasons the heart acts.

Mark 11: 24-26   ²⁴ Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

²⁵ And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

²⁶ But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Faith will not work in an unforgiving heart. Faith works by love, love must be the motivating force behind all operation of faith. Love is the power charge behind the God kind of faith.

Having faith in your faith, is having faith in what Jesus has already done for you. It is called the finished work at the cross

We don’t have a faith problem; we have a word problem… the measure of faith is enough. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Faith works for those whosoever will believe. We stand by faith, we fall by unbelief.

In Gods eyes we are kings and priests, we are more than conquerors.  We are in Christ now; it is called the great exchange.

GODS PROMISE

The reason the body of Christ is so vuneralble is we are fighting a war we can not see.

Read Eph 6:12 We are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against (principalities a territory ruled by a prince) against powers… (powers of manipulation, deception).

The rulers of darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places. (the second heaven).

Thank God we have authority over such thru Christ Jesus.

Jesus has already made every provision necessary.

This is our promise, but if we don’t know it… it won’t do us any good.

Now you can understand why we must be anchored to God and his word.

Read John 10: 27-29, My sheep hear my voice I know them, and they follow me.

vs 28 says... And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, or be destroyed, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

vs 29 ...My father which gave them to me, is greater than all. And no man is able to pluck them out of my fathers hand, I and my father are one.

Our soul is anchored in God’s word… Gods will… and Gods purpose for our lives

The truth really will set you free… if you really know the truth

God is… God can… and God will…

GUARDING YOUR IDENTITY

 

1^ST John 5:13-15   ¹³ These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

¹⁴ And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

¹⁵ And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

To go anywhere with God you must believe on the name of the Son of God… Jesus. And you must know that you have eternal life.

So if you are sure you believe on his name, and you are without doubt, that you have eternal life, then you will desire to please him. And you will be confident, that he will listen to you when ever we ask him for anything. In line with his will which is revealed in his word.

And when we know he is listening when we make our requests we can be sure that he will give us what we ask for. Whoever believes in Gods Son has eternal life, Jesus is all you need.

You don’t need to wait for eternal life, because it begins the moment you believe. You don’t have to work for it because it is already yours. You don’t need to worry about it because you have been given eternal life by God Himself.

Eternal life is not based on feelings; eternal life is based on facts, the fact that Gods word is truth.

Matthew 6:34   ³⁴ Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

We worry about the things of tomorrow and tomorrow has not even gotten here yet.

So don’t worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will bring its own worries, today’s troubles are enough for today.

Believing in the word produces faith in His word. Faith grows out of the word, not by praying for faith. Prayer does not cause faith to work, faith causes prayer to work.

Faith should never be allowed to stand still. Expect what you say with your mouth to come to pass.  Your faith is released by your words, supported with action.

Once you understand how faith works, then you will understand how to bring things from the unseen realm to the seen realm.

Begin to have faith in your faith, believe what you say… out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks…

When you begin to take your place in Gods kingdom and assume your rights and privileges God will respond to you.

Controlling Our Thoughts

Controlling Our Thoughts

The battles we face in today’s walk is a spiritual war that is trying to control the way we think. In 2^nd Cor. 10: 4-5.…. Paul is saying the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds.

Verse 5 says… to cast down imaginations… How many times we as Christians start to think on things that do not line up with the word of God.

If we are not careful we get over into lustful thinking, and suddenly we realize it and think… Where did that thought come from?

We have and enemy, his name is Satan, he is the devil, he comes to kill… steal… and destroy. His favorite deception is to manipulate our thought life through the way we think.

Psalms 15: 26 says, that wicked thoughts are an abomination to the Lord. We need to think on thoughts of purity, not on things in the worlds way of thinking.

If a wrong thought comes to mind, you know it did not come from God. Cast it out in the name of Jesus. We will never have the peace of God in our lives until we control our minds, that is our way of thinking.

You can’t walk the path of righteousness and the path of wrong thinking at the same time. In our daily lives we have to make choices… those choices come through our thoughts.

The devil will try to twist and pervert your thoughts to fit his deceptive ways therefore controlling your choices. Even though we have an enemy trying to confuse us, the one we have inside us is greater, and He will instill the truth in us.

It is a fact, there is an evil one who is continually working against our way of righteous thinking, at the same time there is the holy spirit who is always with you that can and will conquer all the things the devil comes against you with, especially in your thought life.

Deception is the devils only weapon against you, don’t let him steal your joy, your life or your blessings, lean on Jesus and the Holy Spirit and keep your precious way of thinking.

Nehemiah 8: 10 says… for the joy of the Lord is our strength.

Be happy, be strong in thought…
