The Emptiness of Unbelief

Where there is unbelief in a persons life it is impossible to have peace and true joy. The joy of the Lord is what we know, not what we feel

Nehemiah 8: 10 says…For the joy of the Lord is your strength… not how you feel.

When God told Abraham that he and Sarah were going to have a son, even though he was a hundred years old, Abraham did not disbelieve, but was fully persuaded it would happen.

Abraham considered the word of God to manifest just like it promised.

Unbelief comes through your natural senses, believing by faith, comes through your supernatural knowledge and wisdom by the Holy Spirit.

One of the reasons we have unbelief is lack of knowledge… Hosea 4: 6 says… my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

If you don’t read the Word you will never have enough knowledge for the Holy Spirit to work with. The Holy Spirit gives you wisdom and understanding of Gods Word. This knowledge comes by reading the Word.

Everything works through faith. Not unbelief. Faith is awarded to us or obtained through righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Abraham did not have anymore faith than we do, he just didn’t have as much unbelief…

We as Christians should pray… Lord I believe, help my unbelief. In Mark chapter 5: 25 -34 it speaks of a woman who has a physical problem that the doctors couldn’t heal.

When she heard she could be healed by Jesus, she came and touched his robe, all the time saying to herself, If I can but touch his clothes, I shall be made whole, (healed).

Jesus knew healing power had gone out of Him and that someone had touched Him, so he turned to see who had touched Him. The woman fell down before Him and told him the truth, He said to her, daughter thy faith hath made thee whole (healed).

Do you have this kind of faith? You have to believe to receive the manifestation of God. God is spirit, Gods word and Gods will only works in a persons life through faith and belief.

We can not be double minded about the things of God, there are no ifs or ands and no doubts in the work of Gods will for your life.

If Gods word says He can, He can, if Gods word says He will, He will.

Our only hope in these perilous times is to trust the one and only Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There are a lot of religions, but only one way to life eternal with God.

Read John 14:6... I am the way, the truth and the life, no one cometh unto the Father (God) but by me. Jesus is speaking here in John.

John 15:7 says, if you abide in me and my words aide in you: you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you.
