Truth vs. Facts
May 13, 2013
Read Matt 9: 20-22... The woman was made whole…. The word “made whole” has a wide variety of meanings; Sound health, not diseased, broken, damaged or defective. Also including being saved, delivered, healed protected and made well.
Read Matt 12: 13... The man with a withered hand was healed and made whole. In this case, made whole was to be made well.
People often say that facts are truth, and basically this is correct, except in the Spirit realm. Jesus Christ is a fact, he is real and alive at this very moment, and He is also truth.
At times it requires truth to conquer the fact…Christ is our truth and has the power to changed and transform every negative situation.
In Jesus’ ministry the truth met the facts of evil, sickness and death. Truth conquered all the facts.
In John 14: 6 Jesus says I am the way, the truth and the life…It is a fact that all people are born into sin, but who is the truth? He steps in and defeats the fact and the sin nature is defeated.
It may be a fact that you are diagnosed with an incurable disease, confirmed by x-rays and doctors reports. You are told you can not deny the facts…
It is not faith to deny the facts… it is very possible the facts are seen on x-ray and truly stated by what the doctors say… it is however very possible to have the real truth. When Christ enters into the situation and meets the facts head on, He alters those facts and heals you.
For Jesus who is the truth can over power the facts, and make you whole. The word of God does not just contain the truth, it is the truth.
God Himself confirms His Word with visible evidence that in the New Testament is called, signs and wonders with miracles. God is still in the miracle working business.
We need to make a choice, will we trust God all the way?
In closing read Heb 2:4. Don’t lean to your own understanding, trust God and His Word, which is the truth.
May the countenance of God shine upon you.
Brother Andy.
