CHOICES THAT LEAD TO ETERNITY

CHOICES THAT LEAD TO ETERNITY

Regardless whether a person believes in Heaven or Hell, regardless how much you know about religious or secular writings, you will spend eternity somewhere.

You may very well think; that is crazy thinking. You live, you die, end of story. Not so. In all of my weekly lessons, I never speak much about hell. Reason being, people stop reading when you speak about hell.

Hear me out. Life is so short and with today’s chaotic happenings, you could lose your life at the most unexpected time. The choices you make and the lifestyle you choose will be the determining factor on where you will spend eternity.

I am not responsible for where you will spend eternity. I am only responsible for letting you know your choices and which one is the right choice.

By choosing Jesus Christ as savior and making Him the Lord of your life, you make the best choice.

By not choosing Him as Lord then the alternative choice is already made for you.

John 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Because of Adams sin in the garden of Eden we as humans were separated from God the Father. Jesus came to shed His blood as a sacrifice, to redeem us from our sins, so that we might regain our fellowship with the father.

Jesus is both God and man, by accepting him as savior we are automatically reunited with God.

Accepting Jesus as Lord of your life will allow the Holy Spirit to come into your life and work in your life. You will be able to make spiritual choices with his guidance.

Gods promises and His provision will carry you through the hard times in your life. He will give you divine strength and the blessings stored up for you in heaven will be poured into your life. You become a child of God and heir to his kingdom.

Isaiah 56:7-8   Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

Seek the Lord while you can. God will have mercy upon you and forgive you for all your short comings. Everyone stumbles and falls in life, but with Jesus, the Lord will pick you up and help you in your time of need. You can always put your trust in His word.

Every word the bible is the inspired word of God when his word is spoken it will accomplish what He says. You must be able to hear and understand what the word is saying to you.

John 8:43-45-47-51

43:  43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

45:  45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

47:  47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

51:  51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

Jesus is asking why can’t you understand what I am saying, is it because you are unable to do so. People that don’t understand because they refuse to listen. If you have had children you probably understand this. Sometimes you need to just stop and listen for God to speak to you.

The attitudes and actions of some people clearly define them as followers of the wrong choice. They may not be conscious of it but their hatred of the truth, their lies and their wrong intentions indicate how far their choice has taken them.

Anyone whose father is God listens gladly to the word of God. They have made the right choice. Where will you spend eternity?

When Jesus says those who obey won’t die, he is talking about spiritual death. Not physical death. Those who accept Christ Jesus as Lord of their lives will be raised from the grave to live eternally with Him.

Think about your choices. Where will your choices take you? What road are they taking you down? Are your heaven bound with the Savior? The alternative to being heaven bound is not good. Time is running out, choose the Savior.
Stay in the word,
Brother Andy
