IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR SOUL
Matthew 16:24-26King James Version (KJV)
24 Then said
Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For
whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life
for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is
a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or
what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Those who want to come with
me must say no to the things of this world.
In other words, if you want
to be a follower of mine you must deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow
me.
You must make Jesus the Lord
of your life, and live righteous before Him. If you try to saved your life
without following Jesus you will loose your life.
Why: Because you have chosen
to denied him as Lord and Savior.
When you accept Him and
follow Him you will save your life.
What should it profit a
person if they had a billion dollars and denied Christ and died in sin.
His soul and spirit will
spend eternity in the lake of fire.
You might say, I never
thought a loving God would send me to Hell.
He wouldn’t, your choices decide where you will spend eternity.
John 14:6King James Version (KJV)
6 Jesus saith
unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.
God sent Jesus to save us,
you must make the choice to receive Him as Lord and Savior.
What in this earth would be
worth missing eternity with Jesus in Heaven? Every thing on Earth is only
temporary.
There should be nothing on
this earth that would be worth exchanging your soul and spending eternity in
Heaven with Jesus.
The problem is, people focus
on earthly values instead of Gods word and Gods values.
They can’t seem to get it in
their heads and hearts that Gods word is real.
Proverbs 3:5King James Version (KJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Trust in the Lord or trust in
his word with all your heart. It doesn’t say trust with your head.
Whether you believe it or not
God is real. His word is real and His will for your life is real. Heaven is
real and Hell is real.
Whether you are a Christian
or not you face the world the flesh and the devil.
How are you facing it: With
God or with the Devil.
People that read Gods word or
people who deny God will hear Gods word but will not understand it.
Only the Holy Spirit can give
understanding of Gods word.
Jesus said you will see what
I do, but you will not understand its meaning.
Matthew 13:15-16King James Version (KJV)
15 For this
people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their
eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and
hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be
converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed
are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
They have closed their eyes
and can not see.
They have closed their minds
to Gods word and their hearts can not turn to me and let me heal them.

As a Christian your eyes are
blessed because they see.
And your ears blessed because
they hear.

5 The blind
receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf
hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
Romans 10:17King James Version (KJV)
17 So then faith
cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
If you will listen to God, do
as he says: you too can understand why there is nothing worth exchanging your
soul for.
