THE RICHES OF GOD’S GRACE

THE RICHES OF GOD’S GRACE

Ephesians 1:2-7King James Version (KJV)Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Paul wrote this letter, to give in-depth knowledge of God’s word about how to maintain the unity of the church through God’s grace.

He’s (Paul) saying, how we should be praising God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has richly blessed us with every spiritual blessing.

He gives us blessings in the heavenly realms because we belong to Christ.

Before God even created the world, God knew us and loved us and chose us in Christ Jesus to be Holy and without blame in his eyes.
God’s unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own Family, by bringing us to Himself through Christ Jesus. And this brings God great pleasure.

So we praise God for His loving kindness that he has poured out on us because we belong to his dearly beloved son.

God is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son.

Romans 8:28-31King James Version (KJV)28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Because of God’s grace to who he did pre-know and who he called, he has a purpose for… and all things will work together for good to those that love God.

So who he for-knew he predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son Jesus Christ.

And who he did predestinate to them he called and who he called he justified.

Justified means that your past is just as if it never happened: So who he justified, them he also glorified.

If we have been conformed to the image of his Son, and we have been called justified, and glorified, nothing or no one can be against us if God be for us.

Ephesians 1:3-4King James Version (KJV)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

By accepting the Lord Jesus as His Son, God the Father has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.

God chose us before the foundation of the world… He chose us and He knew us even before Adam and Eve were created; So that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.

Ephesians 1:5-7King James Version (KJV)Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

According to the good pleasure of His will, we have been adopted into the family of God by Christ Jesus to Himself.

According to the praise of the glory of God’s grace, he has accepted us in the beloved.

Matthew 3:17King James Version (KJV)17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

God is saying from heaven, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.

This is where we should be in our daily walk. Rooted in Gods word until he will look down and say, I am well pleased with my beloved adopted children.

Ephesians 1:6-7King James Version (KJV)To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Praise God for the glory of his Grace, and accepting us in his beloved son Jesus Christ.
In whom we have been redeemed through his blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sin, according to the riches of His grace.

Ephesians 1:12-14King James Version (KJV)12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

God’s purpose was that we, who were the first to trust in Christ, should praise our glorious God.

That after you have heard the gospel and then you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise.

In the riches of Gods grace, his love, his loving kindness and His mercy he sent his Son.

By the shedding of His blood for our sins, and the finished work at the cross, we receive redemption, justification, sanctification, holiness, and adoption as His child to be with Him eternally, in hope, peace, love, prosperity, faith, joy and healing.

We can have boldness and access by faith in him.

Ephesians 3:16King James Version (KJV)16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
Through the riches of God’s grace, everything that heaven has to offer depends on whom and in what you believe.

Your identity in knowing Gods grace comes through Christ in you, the hope of glory, will determine how you believe and who you trust.

Read the word, meditate on the word, and seek the riches of God’s grace.
