Only By The Blood
John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The key words
here are loved and world. He did not say, God so loved the planet earth.
Planet earth is
not the world. Planet earth did not need a savior.
The world is the
people, Gods creation. Jesus was sent to save the whole world, all the people.
Acts 10:34-35 34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
He does not judge by color or creed or what part of the
world you live in, if you are rich or poor. We are all his creation, He loves
us all, and He is all love.
And who so ever believeth in him should not perish but have
everlasting life… whosoever. It doesn’t matter what you have done in your life.
He will forgive every evil thing if you will believe in his Son.
John 3:17-18 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Now saying all this, the question is why did Jesus need to
come from his home in heaven to save us human beings?
Genesis 1:26 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
The
man’s name was Adam and his wife was Eve. They caused treason in the Garden of
Eden by eating of the forbidden fruit.
This
act caused Adam to loose dominion of the earth; he was stripped of all his
authority. Because he listened to Satan he lost his dominion to Satan.
Matthew 4:8-9 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
This is why we had to have a savior. He came to redeem us,
to return dominion of the land to us, and provide a way to be in heaven with
Him.
We had to be blood bought and redeemed. Jesus the son of
God was the only one worthy of redeeming us by his sin free perfect blood.
Jesus the anointed one came down from heaven took on the
form of a human and paid a price he never owed. We were doomed and owed a price
we could not pay.
John 10:10 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I
have come that you might have life and life more abundantly.
John 14:6 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Romans 10:9 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Mark 16:16 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
If
you have never been saved, or redeemed by accepting Jesus as your savior, then
you are separated from God and there is no hope for you if you died today.
If
you don’t have the blessed assurance that when you die, or Jesus comes to
rapture us out that you will be in heaven, then you’re not going to make it to Heaven.
It
doesn’t make any difference if you believe it or not. It doesn’t change the
facts, and it is a fact that you will spend eternity in one of the two places.
You
will be in heaven with Jesus or in Hell with Satan. This is not a matter of
chance; it is a matter of choice.
You
need to make your choice today. Let the Lord do what he came to do, save you
from sin and hell.
You
can not be good enough in yourself to go to heaven or bad enough not to be
forgiven.
God
loves you so much that he gave his son so you would be saved.
