BEING SET APART

BEING SET APART

1ST COR 1: 29-30   That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

We know Jesus has been made sanctification and holiness for us

Jesus has also been made righteousness and redemption for us.

We can not call ourselves righteous unless we except Jesus who has made us righteous.

Without Jesus, we can not be righteous

We can’t say we are redeemed without accepting Jesus who is our redeemer.

We can’t say we have wisdom without accepting Jesus who is our wisdom.

When we receive Jesus He is our everything; He is our wisdom, our righteousness our holiness and our redemption.

Holiness can’t be reduced down to conduct. Holiness is a person and his name is Jesus.

When we get Jesus we get sanctification. When we get Jesus we get holiness.

But we can’t get holiness until we get Jesus, and     we can’t get sanctification until we get Jesus.               We can’t be righteous until we get Jesus.

So when you have Jesus you have everything.

The book of Romans says I give you my Son and with him you can freely receive all things.

For Christians, Jesus is everything for us.

God’s way of deliverance is to take your eyes off yourself and put them on Jesus.

If you want to be healed, know that life is in Him, when you know you have the life of God living throughout the whole of you the other things God has for you are going to be there.

We must get our eyes off our circumstances and back on Jesus. That is the key to all deliverance.

When the snakes were killing the people in the desert, God told Moses to put a serpent on a stick and when they looked upon it they would be healed.

God wanted them to get their eyes off their circumstances.

When you start getting your eyes off of circumstances and get your eyes on Jesus, you are going to start moving into the supernatural.

Holiness to the world looks different to them than it looks to the body of Christ.

2nd Cor 3:18   But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

This means we see Jesus through the word of God. The Holy Spirit will now change us into the image of what we behold.

Not your self effort, not your works, the Holy Spirit is going to change you into what you behold.

As you get into the word and start to see the glory in the word, and you see Jesus in the word, the Holy Spirit says I am going to change the things about you to this image.

Then you look up one day and your financial situation has changed, and the Dr. said you were sick but you kept looking at the word and the Holy Spirit changed you into that image.

The Holy Spirit can’t change you without you looking at Jesus and the Word.

If you don’t change and get into the word, twenty years from now you will be in the same image that you are in now.

But if you will get in the word, and see your life through the word, instead of the circumstances around you, you will bypass natural processes and will be connected to supernatural processes and when you look up one day, and you see that you look like the image of God, that which you have been looking at.

When things come up in your life, don’t respond in the natural, because you will only stay in the natural.

1st Peter 2: 9   But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

We are a purchased people, Purchased by the blood of Jesus.

John 17: 15   I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Jesus does not say take them out of the world, but rather I am going to take you out of the influence of it.
