Created for His Purpose
Rom. 8:28-32 And
we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to His purpose.
Only if certain conditions are
met. The first condition is that it is His purpose, not ours, which is actually
the second condition. Otherwise all things would not work out together for our
good.
Proverbs 1:24,29,31 24 Because I have
called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
29 For whom
he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his
Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
For he, God, did foreknow means
that Gods foreknowledge of our life is so that we could be conformed to the
image of Jesus, his son. It is not about the person predestined; it is about
Gods plan for the believer.
30 Moreover
whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also
justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Without that call from God man
cannot be saved. To many of Gods children refuse to hear the call.
The whole of
humanity is set apart in to two camps. Those who follow God and are given
wisdom of the word and those who reject the God given wisdom of the word.
They hate
knowledge and have no fear of the Lord. Here is the choice that every living
soul has to make. Those who choose not to follow God do so because they refuse
to accept the knowledge which is given to us by the word of God.
So, they will
eat of the fruit of doing it their own way. Man’s problem is doing things in
his own way and his own devises. It is either Gods way to have eternal life or
mans way which is eternal death.
31 What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
If God be for us should have been
translated, since God is for us who can be against us.
32 He that
spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with
him also freely give us all things?
God, who spared not his own Son,
refers to the great gift given of God regarding the Lord Jesus Christ. Through
the cross God freely gives us all the things that pertain to life and
Godliness. Which Jesus paid for at the cross. Providing our faith is forever in
Christ and the cross.
The word destination means the
purpose for which something or someone is intended or appointed to.
The word predestinate means God
did actually know us before we were ever born physically. For whom he did
foreknow, he also did predestinate.
That is how we know that all
things can work together for good to them that love God. And to them who are
called according to his purpose.
2nd Peter 1:3-4 3 According
as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and
godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust.
Exceeding great and
precious promises pertains to the word of God which alone holds the answer to
every life problem. Partaker of the divine nature implanted in the inner being
or a believing sinner becomes the source of our new life and actions. It comes
to everyone at the moment of being born again.
Matthew
22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
This includes the whole world
which are many and are called by God. few are responding favorably to the call.
Many are called for Gods
purpose on earth, but some that are called are led astray by the world’s
rebellious ways.
Before we were born physically to
our mother and father, we were in Heaven as a spirit.
You were a spirit in the heavenly
realm. How else could he have known you and predestined you for His purpose.
We were called, we were
justified, and the ones he justified, them he also glorified.
Before you were physically born,
at the time of conception, God sent a predestinated foreknown spirit: Flesh can
only produce flesh. The real you is spirit, the flesh is to be a device to
house the spirit.
Your soul which is made up of
your mind, your will and your emotion, your soul helps you make choices in your
life.
This is why and how Mary (Jesus’
physical mother) could deliver a physical baby without being with a man.
You are a spirit that was created
in heaven: foreknown in heaven and at the time of Gods purpose for your life
you were predestinated and sent to earth.
So, if God is for us who can be
against us? He also freely gives us all things. God loves his creation and wants
to bless us with everything heaven has to offer.
Romans 8: 37-39 Nay,
in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am
persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from
the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Because of the love of God and
everything that he has invested in us through the finished work at the cross,
we are more than conquerors.
Paul is saying I am persuaded;
persuaded means his mind was made up through faith in the word and is
immovable. He was persuaded that neither death nor life or things to come was
going to change his mind.
Jesus loved us enough to give his
life on the cross. That alone makes us more than conquerors.
This love of God the Father
extended to us is made possible solely by Christ Jesus and what was done for us
at the cross. Once again this is God’s love for us, it never wavers because we
are in Christ.
Nothing shall be able to separate
us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:35 35 Who shall separate
us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or
famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
This is speaking
to us of the love of Christ for the believer. Not the believers love of Christ.
We are protected
against all outside influence but not from ourselves. If a person so desires,
he can separate himself from the love of Christ by rejecting what was done at
the cross.
John
10:28-30 28 And I
give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man
pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is
able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
Eternal life carries with it a
promise that cannot be matched elsewhere under any circumstances. They shall
never perish means that no believer needs never fear that God will change his
mind respecting their salvation.
Neither shall any man pluck them
out of my hand is referring to any and all out side forces. Only by our own
choice can we be taken out of Gods hand. Regretfully many have chosen to leave
the Fathers hand.
My Father which gave them to me
is greater than all is proclaiming the power of God that is able to keep any
and all which he does through the spirit.
Jesus proclaims that no one is
able to pluck them out of my Fathers’ hand. If you have Jesus as savior you
have the Father’s hand of protection on you.
Jesus says, I and the Father are
one. We are one, these simple words destroy the teaching of those who deny the
distinction of three persons in the God head and those who question the deity
of Christ Jesus.
When God sends you to earth as a
spirit, you as a human will have a free will to make decisions as to which path
you want to follow.
You can choose the natural way
and be led by the things of the world… or you can choose the spiritual way and
be led by the Holy Spirit.
Because you were foreknown, God
knew everything about you; you were predestined to come to earth for the
purpose of serving God. Most people simply do not understand the purpose that
God has for their lives.
On Sunday they live by faith; on
Monday it’s the same old grind.
We are trying to get through
life, letting the old flesh control our thoughts and our life. We are to be led
by the Holy Spirit, not what the crowds think.
Let the Holy Spirit Quicken you
with the life force that makes your minds and spirits alive beyond the natural
realm of thinking.
Let Gods Holy Spirit lead you to
your highest potential.
